Artificial intelligence (AI) is the much-hyped disruptive technology of the 21st century that promises to revolutionize aircraft design, manufacturing, assembly, operations and even passenger services. 8.12 AI leads to advanced data analytics allowing automation, predictive decision making and real-time optimisation for safety, efficiency and sustainability improvements.
